Ingredients
- 1 pkg fudge cake mix
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 21 oz cherry pie filling
- 2 eggs, beaten
Frosting:
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 tbsp butter
- 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips, or 1 pkg
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease and flour a 9x13 pan.
- Combine first 4 ingredients by hand, and stir until well mixed.
- Pour into the pan.
- Bake 25-30 minutes.
For the frosting:

Combine sugar, butter and milk in a small saucepan.

Boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth.
- Pour over cake.
- Cool and cut into serving pieces.
