I dropped my new 100mm (*cough* expensive :*( ...) lens four feet onto a concrete floor a couple weeks back. I was absolutely terrified but it looked like the lens cover took the force of the impact, and I was able to get it fixed at a camera shop. Anyway, I know your sorrow and stress! Glad the camera is working. This pie looks glorious.
